MITSEDS is the MIT chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS).

We are one of several dozen SEDS chapters located at colleges and high schools in the US, Canada, the UK, and many other countries throughout Europe, Latin America, and East Asia.

MITSEDS plans a number of activities, including starting design teams, attending conferences, sponsoring conferences, holding astronomy events, sponsoring guest lecturers, and biweekly meetings to discuss our activities and the general space community,
